Boathouse Museum

This was a Boat House developed for the Guawuns Dredgers in NY. The concept is based off of an emotional experience. Creating the emotion of scale, to emphasis the feeling of being small while alone on a boat. Emotion is captured by undulating floor plates to create a large void. Also intentionally high spaces and places throughout building. This is a building designed and meant to be experienced not just used!

 

Revit

Its been a while since I have posted anything on here but I have been trying my hand at Revit. Surprisingly enough through my entire educational career I was never taught. So in order to keep myself fresh and up to date I took an additional class. I was concentrating my efforts on really trying to make sure I understood the medium. In doing so I have redone an entire studio project in about 3 hours. Its still a little rough but I'm working on getting it to a detailed level.
